CC capacity of 2V cumbustion chamber?

Previous posts peg it to 59 to 62 ccs. This compares to an early 170 head of about 52 cc.

There is always a natural spread due to machining and casting.

You can shave it down 100 thou to about 44 to 46 cc if you don't mind potentially creating scrap metal if it gets overheated and has to get a final cut in its future. All reconditioned cylinder heads are an investment, and you have to weigh up if its worth dialing in the right compression ratio by shaving the head, or by some other very expensive means such as a full block recondition by 'O' decking a block or going to flat-top pistons.
