Changing Carb's

I am changing the carb and timing gear from '76 250cid smog Carter 1100 to '70 non-smog Carter RBS non-smog carb. The "Falcon" Manual describes the RBS as a good carb replacement, cfm wise, to the 1100. Anybody know if this is a hot-carb for this engine?
