clutch newb got some questions.

alright so it seems the clutch is slipping on my mustang (65 3speed) and I guess what im asking is do I need a whole kit or can I just replace the plate? Keep in mind I dont know alot about clutches so im probally using the wrong terms.

yep , 3 things pressure plate , disk n throw out bearing

Well I guess my next question then is there a way to find a clutch kit for under $300 cause that seems very expensive for a clutch kit.

You're right 6=8, NAPA has the kit for $301.00. OUCH!

i tried adjusting the linkage and ran out of gas before i figured out if i got it right, but i wanna consider options before i get disapointed. Thanks for finding that its a huge huge huge help you have no idea.
