coil wiring on a 67 200ci

I was wondering how to wire my coil. I purchased the wires that come from the firewall. does the vacum advance go to positie or negative side of the coil, and wat wires from the firewall go were.

Okay the Vacuum advance hose would go to the carb. If you are talking about the wire from the distributor (from points) than yes it goes to the coil a stock Ford will say Dist. On this post and Bat. On the other side of coil. Tthe plug on Firewall is made to only go one way so just plug it in you check to see if you have power with a simple test light
