Can you direct mount a 2v on the hex log head?

Thanks for the link, interesting reading. The article did not indicate that a hex log could not be used although one of the pictures looked as if it might be a hex log. I checked my well worn copy of the Falcon manual and it states that flat top logs are more easily modified for adapter plates. I noticed the hex log has 1420 cc of intake manifold volume compared to my 70 250 flat top log with 1240 cc and a 80 EO flat top log head with 1345 cc I am considering for modification. Most likely the additional 75 cc is not going to make much difference .
