I took the dizzy out of my 200 cid engine... to change the advance curve.
Nothing went well that evening... I managed to get the top of the dizzy apart. I also managed to pop the spring - weight arm off the center sleeve piece that rotates to advance the timing.
So, I got that tig welded back together;
I changed the max advance in the dizzy from 18 to the 13 setting. As I understand it the 18 and 13 setting are 36 and 26 degrees at the crank shaft..... I will bring the remainder of timing in as initial
Now to reinstall the dizzy into the engine
