Hi gents,

I just got the DSII from Mike, but it did not come with the gold resistor... I shot an e-mail to Mike..

havent received a reply yet.. anyone knows if the DSII comes with the gold resistor already installed?

I'm using my car as a "daily driver".. so I'm not planning to run the car in the 10,000 rpm range..

there is the following inscription etched on the bottom side of the distributor that reads:

"#63946 24˚ @ 3000 "

and my second question is in regards to the article titled "Getting better gas mileage with your DuraSpark II"

http://www.classicinlines.com/DSIIswap1.asp#DSIIgas

would I still have the replace the lighter of the 2 springs in my new DSII with one of the #925D springs

to attain the improvement that the article talks about? I have not opened up the Dizzy yet, I just wanted to

know more info on the matter before I proceed.. Thanks :hmmm: :thanks:

nevermind on the gold resistor.. I figured out what it looks like.. so I guess I'll be purchasing

that item as well..lol.. since the resistor definitely is not inside the distributor..

Sorry, I've been really busy the past week. The gold resistor comes with the Dyna module, not the dizzy.
They recently updated the Dyna Module kit, which is now Ford blue, and includes the Inferno 2 coil.
I just haven't had time to post a new pic on my website yet. This is what it looks like now.
