DUI - Distributor, Internal Coil, & LiveWires

I wanted to state here how satisfied I am with the DUI addition to my 250. I have a 1969 Fastback that I have added disk brakes, rebuilt engine and transmission and dual outlet headers with true dual exhaust through GT tips, all done over a couple of years. It also has new bigger sway bars and is 1.5" lower all around.

All of this stuff added something but the kick I got from adding the DUI this past January is very noticable and the car is just better since the addition. It starts easier, run stronger and is quicker through all speed ranges.

Thanks Mike for making me aware of this and making it available. I wish I had the rest of the parts when I was building the engine, The next one will have all the goodies.

My buddy in Washington said similar praises to me (sharris on fordsix) but has never posted on here. In the length of time that I've know him he has had stock points. Then we installed a Duraspark II from a wrecking yard, which was much smoother then the points. A while back he had issues with the DII wiring and his local mechanic couldn't figure it out (what sort of mechanic did he use?) so he used the opportunity to upgrade to a DUI and has been in heaven ever since. Smoother, nicer starting, simple installation.

His car is the red '66 in my sig. I wonder if he regapped his plugs?
