Well i have started down the road of building a high performance 200 for my 65 ford econoline pickup. Trying to do all the right mods for my application has rendered some not so hard decisions, but i see alot of talk about T-5 transmissions. My econoline truck like the vans is mid engine, thus any manual transmission would have to use a side shift linkage (in other words not having the stick directly on the tranny but linked by rods) I'm not affraid of linkage fabrication but i'm not sure what is avaliable for transmissions using such shift mechanisms. Any help would be really appreciated

I had a 88 grand am 5-speed it had a two cable trans shifter. wonder if some has a idea how to get a two cable to work on a T-5.
