electric water pump

i had seen a picture of someone using the universal morso electric water pump kit to drive the WP I wanted to know if this was easy/hard what mods are involved on a 200/250 should i use the long snout water pump or short and if i could see some more pics

I have an electric water pump drive on my 170 in the T Roadster. Mine would be similar to the Mr Gasket version as it runs a small Gilmer belt drive. It also drives the original mechanical fan.

You could also look at the inline hose type water pumps that come in the usual radiator hose size and heater hose size from Davies Craig.

I have it on My Race Only 250 , it is NOT recommended for continues street use , it worked very well for racing , the Moroso and Mr Gasket setups are almost Identical

The Davies Craig unit can be used continuosly and is designed for street use as ell as to back up a mechanical pump. They also have pumps that fit into the heater hose.

Would take a long time and extreme hp gains to justify 250 + for a electric water pump , it has its place , BUT not in my builds or wallet

if i drove it on the weekends occasionally would that be too much for this kit?

OK again , continuous use is say more than an hour or so ( i never have left it run for more than 20 min ) , its designed for DRAG RACING , there are continuous use pumps as posted above , but the Moroso / Mrg Deal is NOT for that . oh and still looking for that bracket

thanks gotcha i dont think 250$ is worth it for the one i was just worried since i was running a supercharger!

Heres the one that I run on my street/strip car. Its a Mr Gasket unit with the longer belt and the overdrive pulley.

It doesnt get run more than 35 or 40 minutes at a time on the street though,
