66 mustang,200 6 cyl.installed ignitor 2 ,matching coil, plug wires, new ignition sw.,new relay, starter. car started great, put it in drive engine dies. made sure resister was removed to make sure 12 v. to coil. called hot line ,they said it probly is something wrong in electrical system. to their credit they told me to mail back and they would replace. removed everything installed new points new resister and car runs good. b.t.y. new roter & cap, now i am afraid to try new ignitor. but i keep reading about what a great upgrade it is any thoughts or help would really be appricated. thanks.mike

is there a resister wire under dash or just one in the engine bay, mike

Easiest way to check is to buy a multimeter and check the voltage on the red wire coming from the ignition at the coil with the key in the run position. If you get 12Vs, you are all set.
