now that it is consistently warm, schedule is clear, and have a little money saved, i hope to start putting my motor together. has any body put a manual or something together for a rookie engine builder for guidance specifically for the little inline.
 
8) in addition to what the others have said, if you have ANY questions, post them up here, or pick a few people and send us PMs or emails with questions that you dont want made public for one reason or another. and remember there are NO stupid questions when it comes to rebuilding engines, only very expensive mistakes.
 
8) while not directly about ford sixes, you can get a book like how to rebuild your small block ford or small block chevy and use those as general reference guides on rebuilding an engine. they give you good information on what to look for in general.
 
The factory shop manuals have complete rebuilds for the inline sixes.
The Haynes manuals are usually some form of condensed version of the factory manual.

Even the old "Motor's" manuals are pretty good.
