All Small Six Exhaust manifold question

This relates to all small sixes
I have a i6 250 and am working on the exhaust manifold. I have a tube that slips into the top going to the choke and one on the bottom going to the carb. How does the bottom attach? Broke off years ago and trying to replace. Thanks for any help.

Hi, that sounds like the choke stove tube. If you cannot get the hole in the exhaust manifold cleaned up, there is an aftermarket kit that clamps the tube to the down pipe, and attached to the choke housing the original way. I think they are available in the Help section at the auto parts stores. Good luck

Thanks, the top hole goes to the choke this one comes from the bottom and goes directly into the carb from a small nipple on the manifold. I just am unsure if it is a slip fit or if it is flared under the nipple. I don't think the nipple comes off because it is round. I just don't want to break anything.
