exhausts

anyone tell me what size exhaust to get and what muffler makes our 250 2v's sound sweet as?

i was going to go a 2 1/2in with a single lukey muffler..... wat ya's think?

Yeah that will do butb get it mandrell bent. Red Back mufflers also sound sweet as. Pace maker extractors will also help the overall sound and power of the system. Thats wat I got on mine any way.

already got a nice set of extractors already that will last til the turbo manifold is done.

Ill ask my exhaust bloke about the redback mufflers

I read that a single 2 1/2 system is more benifical for a 6 than a twin system any how. I have heard some bad things about lukey latley too. People have had to replace them under warrinty cause the insides were vibrating to pieces.

nah havent got it done yet, the ol girl passed rego so wont be getting it done til the new year but will let ya's all know when i get it done!

I just took my very restrictive factory muffler off my other car and but a large redback straight through muffler on and now consistantly get another 50 to 75 km out of tank of fuel. The original is apparently so restrictive on this car that just this change can increase power from 147kw to 163kw.
I used a Lukey muffler and 2 and a half inch system on my 250 2V and i am very pleased with its note. If you get a straight through muffler it will have good flow but will tend to be a bit noisier. Get the biggest muffler that will fit comfortably in the available space.

What car did you put the redback on?? I personally think that on my car the Redback sounds way better than a Lukey.
