Fenton Goodies

After years of searching I just picked up a NOS Fenton header and dual intake manifold for my 223 in my 55 F-100. I wanted to know if anyone is running a Fenton set up? What does the linkage for the carbs look like?

Congrat's been looking for those Fenton exhaust mans for long time too. I have a picture of a 223 setup on my other computer (though it's down needing some repair) but it will be much like the Offy setup for straight linkage both carbs open at once (the same offy linkage can be made to work). I remember that the bell crank mounts in center between carbs if are you wanting to go to a progressive linkage setup it would be a little different to front carb to bring open it later. So you need to decide witch way you want to set them up. :hmmm:

I have only seen them in the 2 x 1V's and 3 x 1V's never saw a single don't think they would have made them. Though if you had the 3 X 1V version you could block off the front and rear with plates and run off the center.

Hah good idea, although I think it's a bad idea, Probably get a lot of crap for doing such a thing. thank you.

Did a setup kind of like that in the 1970's for a friends 31 Chevy show car V8 with a 6 X 2 intake used a set of 97’s ran on the two center carbs other four were blocked off under the carbs. Had all the linkage and fuel lines, everything was polished and or chromed, don’t think anyone could tell they were blocked.
