Please help. My spring project started out alright but assembly was delayed till now, if someone could help I would appreciate it. After putting the engine back into the car I have the carb vacuum to the dist. hooked up. The fuel pump to the carb. I need a pic or diagram of the vacuum to the automatic trans. Manifold vacuum to the carb as I recall? Took pics of all before dismantleling but computer crashed. I have two light tubes left and i don't know if in fact they were together to tranny or I am missing something else. I have a small orface in the passinger side of the carb near the top? There is a aprox. 3/16 hole in the top of the exhast manifold near the center I seem to remember a line to but i'm in dought. Please help.

See that white insulated line on the top of the carb? That goes to the manifold. right below that is a distribution block on the manifold. One line goes to the trans, the other to the distributor (both lines loop around the a/c line). This is off a '65 Comet so some stuff may be slightly different.

A SIDE VIEW OF THE CARB EXHAUST/MANIFOLD WOULD HELP. I HAVE THE HOOKUP WITH THE SHIELDED TUBE TO THE CARB. ONE OF THE TUBES IN QUESTION SEEMS TO GO TO THE DRIVERS SIDE TO ABOUT MID ENGINE. IF THAT IS SUPOSED TO GO ALONG THAT SIDE TO THE REAR AND DOWN TO THE TRANS MODULATOR I'M NOT SURE. THE PARTS THAT WERE ON THERE WERE OUT OF SHAPE AND CONNECTED WITH RUBBER TUBE EVERY WHICH WAY. IT STILL LEAVE A QUESTION OF INTAKE MANIFOLD INLET/OUTLET AND THE SMALL HOLE IN THE TOP OF THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD. I HAVE PICS BUT I AM NOR SAVY ENOUGH TO POST THEM. IF IT COULD HELP IDENTIFY THEM I WOULD BE HAPPY TO E-MAIL THEM TO ANYONE WHO WOULD BE WILLING TO TAKE A LOOK AT THEM.[/img]

as a side note, i must say that looks like a clean setup. The exhaust mani there looks new (or perhaps just painted very well) if it was new would you mind telling me where you picked it up and for how much? I'm in the market for a new one or else i'm looking a FSPP headers!

THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD IS ONE I HAD OFF OF MY SONS MUSTANG FROM A FEW YEARS BACK. IT WAS STILL STRAIGHT AND NOT CRACKED.

THANKS.

IF SOMEONE HAS A PICK AS THE SIDE VIEW OF THEIR CARB SETUP AND DISCRIPTION I WOULD LOKE TO SEE MORE PICS.
