Hi,
I've just purchased a '72 250 D2DE block and C8DE(M) head. First of all, I don't think the head is ever be removed 'cause it's an original metal gasket. But a C8 head on a 72 engine is weird...is it possible?
Ok, my question (2the  )
This 250 is original a 3 speed manual, but I want to convert to a C4. I've got a C4 for a six and one for an 8. Witch one is the best to use(performance wise)? I can change the bellhousings. Can I bolt-on a 289 flexplate and torque-converter or do I need a flexplate and torq-conv. specially for a 250 inline six?
Tnx in advance.
