FlEXPLATE INFO

Hey guys I need step by step instructions or good information on how to intall a new flexplate. If anyone has a shop manual with a scanner please help me out if its even in there i need some kind of source before i do this my dad is a mechanic but doesnt want to work on it without directions or some kind of reading material this would be a big help. Internet sources would work. Thanks

8) 1: disconnect and remove the drive shaft.
2: remove the converter inspection cover and unbolt the torque converter.
3: remove the trans mount and crossmember.
4: remove the starter.
5: disconnect the bellhousing.
6: disconnect the trans linkage.
7: disconnect the exhaust system if needed.
8: remove the transmission.
9: unbolt the flexplate from the engine.
10: install the new flexplate using a star pattern and a three step torque sequence.
11: reverse the removal procedure.
