Flow Kooler Water Pump

I'm looking at the Flow Kooler water pump for my ford 200. I live in a very hot climate, the car has air conditioning and is turbo charged. I saw this
water pump and was wondering if it's worth the price. Has anybody used one?

Thanks for the replies . I saw the jeep forum already, more positive feed back than jalopy journal.
I don't have any experience with electric water pumps. for the cost I'll stay with mechanical on this build .

I've been really wanting to go the Davies Craig route with the electric fan. Those parasitic power losses add up quick when you're only starting with 100 hp. But then I need to run a bunch more wiring, fab a block off plate, buy the fan, put in a bigger alternator....

I converted my 92 f150 to an electric fan... Mostly because I had a free one laying around and I also for some reason and really good at sticking my hands into mechanical fans... I made my own controller using 2 relays and an electric motor overheat protection switch... The switch was like 7 bucks from ebay and I used relays from the local junkyard... Works like a charm! I cant remember clearly but i think you can run a single relay but i ran 2 so that if the switch failed i could just cut the wires and the fan would default to on position. I did it on purpose like that to create a redundant system... Beats paying like 50 bucks or so for a pre-made fan controller.

I recently added a 25 litre per minute Davies Craig Electric Water pump to a V8. I left the mechanical pump in place and used the EWP to take water from behind the thermostat via a heater fitting and made a T fitting to plumb it back into the top hose. At high way speed the mechanical pump works fine but at slower speeds say in traffic the EWP boosts flow and stops the V8 suffering from heat soak even to the point I have rarely used the electric fan. Heat soak came about as the Windsor V8 was never designed to run on unleaded fuels.

With my T Roadster that has the 170 inline 6 it has an electric driven mechanical water pump that drives the fan as well. Faster warm ups and faster cool downs.
