Flowmaster info needed please?

Since I last paid attention the 40 series now has Deltaflow, does this make them quieter than a 50 series? Love the tone but I don't want to wake the dead.

Nope the 40 series is still louder than the 50 series. At least that's what I've been told. Call Summit or Jegs for a definite answer.

50 series is not as loud as 40. 40 is 2 chamber, 50 is 3 chamber.

If you want a quiet sound, and the best flowing exhaust, Borla looks like the answer.

I am running 70 series Flowmasters on mine and it sounds really nice.
There is a definite roar under WOT, but they are nice and quiet on the higway and at moderate rpm ranges.

Now I gotta fine out the difffrence between a 50 and a 70.
My 86 has the left side of a compleat Flowmaster 2.5 system to keep my 2.3 Lima happy, sopposed to be 50 series but now I wonder as its quite loud inside and people look for airplanes when I drive by. Might have to swap in a Delta Flow???

Drone, loud, not a very sophisticated sound. Anyone that wants it can have mine when I take it off..... :x
