the converter will 'brake stall' to 3k RPM.. This is with the transmission in 3rd gear, foot firmly on the brakes. Lately I have been ''flashing'' the converter for a better 60 time. About 1200 - 1300 RPM at the tree, then stab the throttle at last yellow lite

I've tried the foot on the floor at the tree and launch at WOT. The engine does not seem to like that. I tested a trans brake about 2 yrs ago, that did not work well. It was actually funny to watch the car launch. When I let the trans brake ''go'' ... the Falcon would 'hop' like someone kicked it in the butt. It was a very short hop and the 60 time was still at 2.2**.

i have an idea on reducing the drag on the front disc brakes as I release the animal on the last yellow lite. Every little bit will help the car's times.
