fuel injection?

just a quick thought, has anyone every tried adapting a Holley Pro-jection TBI type kit on these 200s? :D

I guess in the 90's they made a fairly cheap 1bbl one for the 300's that was fairly easy to adapt to the log. I guess all the injectors from that early stuff are NLA and the 1bbl was not that popular so they sort of gave up on it. It does appear in various places in the catalog but not as a complete system that I have ever found. I have an older 2bbl one and though about trying to put it on the 200 but its just too dang large without mods to the log so I used it on another car. The bores are almost the size of the secondaries in a Quadrajet which is just a touch larger than the hole in the old 200 log. Have you seen this thread? http://fordsix.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=38349

Here is the Holley 670 2BBL, you can see the carbon marks under the main bores that are closer to the size of a holley 2 bbl.

8)

IIRC the Holley Pro-Jection kits are

1)Too large for our I6 - Though I seem to remember someone adapting a AMC 258 I6 setup.

2)Too expensive

Most of the setups people are working on now seem to be drifting towards older CFI units adapted to our intakes and running a aftermarket controller like a Megasquirt unit.

A JY CFI can be had for $25 and a Megasquirt kit assembled IIRC is about $200. You just have to figure out how to wire it in and set it up.
