73 Maverick, 250/C4 Stock engine with header, duals, holley 5200 on adapter and DSII ignition.
OK...I got the lil 5200 jetted up, float level set, etc..... no more bogging down. Good response off idle, good idle, good part throttle performance, but any time I go wide open throttle while driving, it starts to die and miss until i back out for a lil while, then it picks up, but wont run at highway speeds or full throttle accelleration without seeming to run out of gas. I've replaced the fuel pump, ran it without the gas cap, blown through the vent line and fuel line with compressed air. Same results? I haven't had a fuel pressure gauge on it yet.
Any ideas? This really seems fuel related, any other ideas?
