Fuel Pump Mod

The only reason I would need to do the carter fuel pump mod is if I was running boost or something right? I running a naturally aspirated so new oem carter pump should be fine right? thanks

8) you can also mod the V8 pump for use on a six cylinder engine if you need more flow volume. for instance if you have detonation problems that you cant solve any other way, you likely need more fuel to the carb to cover a lean mixture.
