All Small Six Thinking of Ideas for 200 upgrades

This relates to all small sixes
I realize the camshaft is different but my experience with the H-6474-0-B on a small log 200, is that it can pull really nicely to redline with the 38/38 weber on a funnel shaped adapter but sometimes it just falls short in the mid-upper and you just need to shift. With the little log, when all the stars are aligned and it pulls hard, it's pretty amazing; it's just not there all the time.

I'm in the midst of building my C9 large log so we will see how things improve on that front.

I take this back... My fuel pressure was too low. I finally got around to putting in the Fuel Pressure Gauge and saw that my fuel pressure regulator that was precision adjusted for the Weber 38/38 was pretty much running the absolute minimum it can run. The adjuster was backed all the way out and it was probably registering about 1.5 lbs of fuel. I adjusted it to 3 lbs and took it for a good spin. No lack of power. Pulls to redline in at least the first 3 of 5 gears going uphill and jumps when you floor it anywhere past 1800 RPM.

Idle has a little bit of a wiggle to it but off idle it pulls hard and smooth with a 38/38 on an adapter the small log. I can only expect it gets better with a direct mount on the large log.

That's Awesome! Fuel gremlins seem to pop up out of nowhere I've found.
