fuel pump

for the street i think the holley blue pump is one of the best, carter also has a good street pump, but remember you are going to need a regulator with those pumps, and one that can cut the fuel pressure to about 3 psi. i also suggest running a return line when running an electric pump to avoid over stressing the reguator.

I did the Edelbrock pump. Used the stock line as the return and ran a new larger line for the feed. As mentioned, remember to use a regulator and also a automatic fuel cutoff for a just in case situation. Will post more details when I get home tomorrow.

I used a Carter P60504, which I've been exceptionally happy with. It's rated at 4psi, but for whatever reason mine was making 5psi which the carb was not happy with. I'd already installed a regulator from a previous electric pump disaster, so no worries. I mention the pressure only because lots of folks have had their P60504 stay right at 4psi and mine didn't. :) Could be a function of the very short distance between the pump and the motor on the Falcon. :) Could also be a function of the fuel filters I used, which are K&Ns. Maybe using the filter the pump comes with would have netted the 4psi it's spec'd for.
