Can someone confirm that the stock sparkplug gap is 0.020 on a 1969 250 inline 6?

.020 Isn't the stock spark plug gap, stock gap is .034. Good luck

If your ignition system is an MSD or another high power ignition system i would go to .040"-.045"' gap. Any more is not beneficial.

stock plug gap is .035" on most engines with point controlled ignitions. most with electronic ignitions are .040-.045. i prefer to run .040" gap on all my engines as they tend to run smoother.
