Gotta 2V Head and some Questions

A customer came into my shop on Thursday and overheard another customer and myself talking about old Fords. He piped up and said he had a 2V head for one of them at home complete with manifold and carb.. Anyway long story short we did a trade and now I have a 2V head complete.. :D
Are the valves the same size as standard 250 ? Are rockers the same ? Also I have been amusing myself for a while of fitting dual or tripple weber 34AMDs to the log. Is the 2V better than a modded log with tripple or dual webers ? It sure looks like it has huge inlets and has the standard carb. Is the 34ADM a good carb to run on the 2V or should I fit 2 ??
Sorry for so many questions its just changed my plans quite bit .
Regards Dan

2V has same valves, springs collets rocker arms as standard head.
yes inlet ports are big and DO NOT need enlargement, however exhaust can use some help.
34adm weber is too small, use a 350 or 500 holley on adapter onto s2v manifold.
Triple weber dcoe or dellortos work great especially with some cam.
this head will fit all precrossflow sixes.

Dont be so sure about the 350 holley, they dont actually flow 350cfm at the given pressure drop. The 34ADM stock flows 285cfm, but I can't remember the flow of the 350, but its considerably less than 350cfm. You can actually modify the 34ADM to get some great results. Personally on a 2v I would go bigger than a 350 holley if you want performance because for a redline of 6000rpm on a 221ci with a Volumetric efficiency of 85% you are using 326cfm. The 500 holley only really flows 350 cfm at the given pressure drop so it would be the better option. With correct jetting and some performance mods you should be fine with this carby.

Thanks All . As my ute is a daily driver and used for my work it is important that I keep economy in mind. At present with the ADM34 I am getting aroung 18 MPG or 7.3 KM/L when driving steadily and avoiding the twitchy foot syndrome that is just running around town etc. However when I want some power it is there to a certain degree for when I want to have some fun.
What I was hoping to find out was if a modded log with 2 or 3 staged webers would perform better when open right up than a 2V head with say a 500 holley. Any ideas would be helpful.. Keeping in mind the economy thing... :)
Cheers Daniel

I finally got my 250 2v and T5 combo running in my XW and with the 34 ADM she's running niiiice. I still have to do a proper timing and carb setup on her, but highway driving get's me about 10k's/Litre at the moment and it's pretty well behaved and I only really need about 1/3rd of the accelerator for pretty much any situation thus far. Still running in the motor, so I haven't been too liberal with it's application. I have had Holleys before and I don't like them at all. I've heard some great things about them. Also quite a few bad things, but in my experience they are not much better than a hole in the tank and a biatch to tune!
