Harmonic Balancer

Hi
Just installed a new harmonic balancer and it does not seem to go in as far as the old one.Can still put the bolt in and tighten but it seem it should go in further on the stem.Anyone know why this could be?
Should I put some grease on it and rubber hammer it?

Thanks SteveStang

Don't go beating on it. Is it possible the keystock has slipped, and is jamming?

Worst case, pull it all off again, measure and compare to the old unit.

FWIW, I would install it with anti-seize on the crank nose.

That's a fact, the line about getting a bigger hammer is just shadetree (mechanic) humor. :D
