I'm trying to figure out where I can get two or three of them? I don't need the whole set. The one that passes behind the carb and through the siamese ports is pretty much wasted and I have one other questionable one. Thanks
If you have a junk yard near by, that would be a really easy way to get them. They are all the same. If you don't, I could send you a few for the cost of shipping. Also I think you could go to the hardware store and pick up some grade 8 7/16" bolts. The specs are in the tech section.
I was going to pick some up from the parts store but then I got to thinking that they aren't the same because of the heat that they are subject to. That seems to be what ate the ones up that I have now?
I've pulled apart 5 or 6 small sixes now and usually all the bolts are reusable. If any are bad it seems to be the one on the front right that goes into the water jacket.
I've got a set of head studs for sale in the classifieds if you want to upgrade.
