I think I'm just going to have a shop build a plate from 1 inch aluminum plate.I just finished my "drawing" and will be taking it to a local machine shop tomorrow so hopefully I can get it back by Wed.
Greetings All-
Well the Machine Shop took a bit longer than I expected [2 weeks] to build my carb spacer plate. But they did a great job. I unfortunately had to do a couple of minor mods for linkage clearances though. Tonight I got everything hooked back up, put in the fluids, reconnected the battery, and turned the key. It runs! No leaks, scraping, groaning or other weirdness.Just have to adjust the idle speed and it should be ready to take on a short cruise/ dry run to test. I finished with a flash light in my teeth since I have no real garage to work in. Tomorrow A.M. I'll start it up and check over it again before I take it for a test drive.
