I'm a little embarrassed asking.

What is the part circled in red called? Is that the crankshaft pulley? Is that the official name?

So where would the harmonic balancer be on a 200ci?

It can be called either the crankshaft pulley or the harmonic balancer they can be considered to be the same thing. If you ever need a new one beware as there are a few variations of harmonic balancers throughout the years for the six.

They're easy to spot, they have a red circle drawn around them.

Harmonic balancer and crankshaft damper are the same thing. It's right behind the pulley.

Ok. This helps a lot.
Final question: What type of variations are there?

The main thing I know of is the 250 units are larger in diameter by almost an inch. They have 12 radially punched through-holes, as opposed 9 on the smaller units.

There are single and twin groove versions of each around, and accessory pulleys that bolt up. They can all be rebuilt if required, the only constraint being a heavily worn seal running surface.

Regards, Adam.
