The question I have is what connection needs to be made on the fitting at the bottom of the automatic choke diaphram on the new Holley model 1908 carb I put in my 1962 Falcon. The motor originally had a manual choke, so the connections aren't there already. Thanks for your help!

They rely on a circuit of heated air. Typically, air is drawn from inside the filtered area of the air cleaner housing, through a steel pipe. It passes inside the exhaust manifold, then returns to the automatic choke housing. The air is ultimately consumed as part of the mixture ratio, which is why filtered air is best.

You can get aftermarket setups that have a length of fairly bendable tube, or a clamp-on section - both are applied to the exhaust manifold or header pipe and heated air's then ducted into the carb.

Hope this helps get you pointed the right way!

Regards, Adam.

I don't have a pic handy but on a heat tube - YF, I simply bent a piece of (3/16?) brake tubing (since the fitting worked) and ran it down the Headers with a hose clamp to one tube. Worked fine.
