Did you try NAPA? They have a carb kit for everything.

I don't think the 1940 was used on the 65 Mustang, was it??
I might be wrong, but I thought the 1940 was in the latter 70's...

The 1940 was a factory replacement made for Ford by Holley. I dont know all the history but the carb was aftermarket and it replaced the Autolite 1100.
But its cool cause NAPA has a rebuild kit for the 1940 so im getting it. I dont have a clue as to why i didn't think of checking NAPA. The company has only been around for freakin ever.
