Home Built Tri-power

That glorious piece of Americus Technicana Maximumus was found by me after a 2 year absence form Ford Six in November 12, 2011. Six into one doesn't go evenly, and thats where the power loss comes from. The stock small log Offy and Edelbrock kits have the worst neck down known to man on the outer carbs, 1.09" verses 1.3 to 1.5" on the early ones, although the later logs hade a 1.5 vs 1.6875" hole disparity.

Three split 1.83" holes would be perfect. No matter, Patrick66 made a better mouse trap by sparking up the mig and making the outer log branches flow good.

Patrick66, you did a special job on that intake. You also addressed the carb clearance in the Widow Maker in as a revolutionary way , as significant as FordSedanDeliveries faired in trumpets on his 65 Stang.

Hot rodding flourishes in the US, baby!

Patrick did good work, and all of the input from folks on his project gave me ideas for mine, but I can't let him take credit for ol' Widow Maker. That's my baby. ;)

Very nice. Its a credit to you, love the flat almost Lamborghini Countach like 'air box' scoops in mean green!

My independent runner twelve part NCHO-6V carb intake uses three interferance fit thimbles of under 2" diameter with 1.5" internal diameter. For my first C1 170 log head, it uses three angled triple 32/36 Carbs. It's production ready now and needs no welding, and is profiled using a cement cutting core drill , set screws and an expensive epoxy mortar Devcon/JB Weld/Humebond to attach it. That way its fully sealed and supported and won't crack in service.

Everything that contributed to its development I learned from FordSixdotCom and my years working concrete bridge, structure and roading maintenance.
