Yes, I got it straightened out. Float height and Orientation was the problem. My brass float was rotated so that the bottom of the float wasn't exactly flat with the needle closed. It was 1 1/36 on the near side, and a lot more on the far side (from the needle). I rotated (bent) and adjusted it so that I have *exactly* 1/5/16 at all corners (I got that number from searching the board here). The overall effect was to lower the level of fuel in the bowl quite a bit.
I had two days of warm weather, and did some on-purpose stop-n-go to get the temps up - and it seemed to be perfectly happy.
Of course, then I got the wideband hooked up, and swapped the (now-happy) 1100 in favor of the HW5200.
