How to remove rust from inside the block

My one manager only runs straight coolant without any water. He swears by it. Personally, I just buy that 50/50 mix stuff by prestone and not worry about it.
 
Straight MEG will "find" leaks and enhance them. :roll: Not good.

A stocking on the upper radiator inlet was the Aussie bush mechanic's standard. You'll likely find one or two on a clothesline nearby. :shock:

If we're brainstorming and th car can sit, what about filling the block with molasses? This performs wonders in de-crudding rusty things.

Thanks for all the imput from all of you guys, Here are my plans i'm definetly going to try and install a filter on it as well as having the radiator flushed. Theres a car swapmeet coming up this weekend over where i live and i always see vendors with custom radiators and hoses so that will be my first step to try and get a hose that i can use with a filter. I will post pictures if i get this thing going :wink:
