I ran open headers for about a week. I scared the living daylights out of a Honda Tuner car who decided he wanted to try to race me. Between the headers and the Aussie head...man did it sound awesome.

is it illegal (in CA) to have only headers with no exhaust system ? (1967 car)
Also, is it gonna mess anything up? or not as much hp, torque or n e thing to have just headers on

It's not legal where I'm at. That entire week... "I am on my way to the exhaust shop for Mufflers".

yah its illegal to have open headers, but it is well worth the sound! Sounds like a loaded 8!

Also clifford duals but I have the Summit turbo mufflers. It sounds great at idle then the noise kicks in only when I hit the throttle.
