There WILL be an increase in HP output. There is no reasonable explanation for anything BUT and increase

I never really cared for aftermarket mufflers... I feel a car sounds GREAT from the factory, and when you use a stock muffler on a built motor, you do restrict the flow a bit but I like that sound.
My hedders are 3 out the left and 3 out the right and each have a stock style muffler... I just haven't installed them yet.
