kiehin carbs

has anyone bothered to do a fuel injected set up with a couple of kiehin carbs and if so what size would be appropriate.

i found a sight where someone has adpated kiehin cr superbike carbs on a 4cyl spitfire by they are way expensive. The keihin pe model line are like 100 bucks a pop for a 28mm carb but i'm not sure what the cfm per carb would be.

Oh, bike carbs. Not FI though something from a GSX-R ought to work well. They have individually mounted throttle bodies. I've seen them put on a Honda and they worked well.

I've heard people speculate, but no actual takers wanting to tune 6 carbs...

any paticular reason to drop the 6 carbs for fuel injection, other then i would say the hassle to tune them all.

and another thought i had is if i had used pumper tillotson or kiehin carbs. I've been fightin with the best way to go about my build here. I didnt know much about megasquirt when i posted this, needless to say i have done alot of reading since then, thanks for the pictures though jack that gives me a good idea what to expect from that setup.

I'm not familiar with motorcycle carbs, do they still have butterflys?
If so, they would be good to use as throttle bodies in a EFI setup.
Just install an injector on each tube and wire it up.

correct me if im wrong jack but the butterflies are like a slider more then a flap such as a normal butter fly.

There were both & a combination of butterfly with a slide for a "constant Velosity" type thing Ive got the latter on a 1000cc V Twin Honda that i had been looking at thinking , Hmm 4 more of these boogers on the bottom half of an efi manifold would look pretty cool.

I think waaaayyyy back when they first hopped up the six for drag racing with triple carbs the article made mention of adapdting the bike carbs to the engine somehow. Definitely make a good conversation piece!
