l3n's falcon lives!

Ok woodbutcher, you win....although I'd include "and my dog in the backseat" and maybe a full cooler in the trunk too.

Not sure where the PO got the tires - they're Daytona SRs, and a quick google search didn't turn anything up. I can sympathize about the prices though. I have an 8" rear end I haven't gotten around to installing yet because I don't want to spend the cash getting new five lug wheels with fresh rubber yet. I like these...

...but I figure it can wait until the ones I've got now start to get a little bald.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who gets a little nervous about the quality of my work (at least in the beginning, which is still where I'm at). Bort62's thread on cutting the front radiator support to squeeze in a bigger radiator inspired me to do something similar (although I didn't cut off nearly as much, since I can't weld yet). That pic of your Falcon with it's face cut off always makes me laugh for some reason...

Ahh Cmon ya wuss - chop it up :) It's only metal!

Haha. Brother, I'm working in a driveway with basic hand tools. It ain't the cutting that scares me, it's the "putting back together" part that has me sweating. I plan on getting myself a welder eventually (the neighbors are going to love that one) but so many toys, so little cash...

By the way, did you get the hood latch situation resolved?
