Still bangin away on the ranch-a-roo.
Just wondering if anyone is running a late cross-over style radiator in there early Falcon with a 200.
I mentioned this in another post but thought i would create a separate thread.
it appears the V8 5.0 style radiator I have has a 1.5" upper spout and a 1.75" lower. The engine has a 1.25' upper and a 1.5" lower.
The upper hose is approx 11.5" and the lower hose should be about 14" long
So to recap.
UPPER HOSE: 1.5" into 1.25", 11.5" long
LOWER HOSE: 1.75" into 1.5", 14" long
I have read that some people are using adapters or cutting off a piece of smaller hose and fitting it inside the "wide" end of the larger hose.
Do they make adapter 1 piece hoses for this set up? Or will the hose set from a later year car work? Do most people use "flex" hose?
I'm just not sure what to ask for or where to go. Thanks for any direction or help.

Also I wanted to add the fan to radiator position is really tight. is this typical?
