Let's try this instead, anyone like the holley 4412?

After reading and fretting I feel nervous about my purchase of a holley 4412 500cfm. Has anyone used this carb and been happy with it on a stock engine or should I just pawn it off and pick up a motorcraft 2100?

Yes I like it and I guess many others too, but on a stock 200cid it is just plain too big. Even in a moderately trimmed engine it is too much.

I've got proof: dynoed the 500 against the 350 on a 150hp 200cid setup and with 500 it lost some guts at lower rpm, and topped one hp less than with the 350. The dynosheets actually are at my website...

The Autolite 2100 is a great carb but for tuneability I'd go with Holley 350 if I were you. Holley is much more "touchable", but once again the 2100 is very nice if you get it tuned for the application. In case you want to run a 2V on a stock engine after all...
