Here's a couple of seconds. I still don't have coolant in it, so I can only run it momentarily. This is just a quick light off, jazz the throttle, and shut down. The engine starts instantly, has a nice lope, and revs very nicely. The Mikunis seem to be working well. I can't believe how fast it starts. That was a stone cold engine.

The next step is to get the radiator hooked up and run it longer to tune it.

Man! That Throttle responce is like RIGHT NOW!

I've been talking to some Motorcycle buds of mine and they think Your going to really like the carb selection that you made.

How many psi of fuel pressure did you end up using?

John

that sounds really great. I have been watching the second day of the barrett jackson car auction and they have had some big engines and that clip sounded just like the other cars I have been watching. exactly what is the exhaust setup you have going on at this time. aaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh.

I'll get the cooling system finished tomorrow and will be able to run it long enough to get it timed and tuned. With the alloy head I don't want to risk building up too much heat.

I want to see if the cooling system mods work. Keep your fingers crossed.

That's with the dual outlet open headers. Very mean, but very loud. :D

Still, I am very pleasantly surprised with how quickly the car starts. One button push and it doesn't even make a ful rotation before it catches. I think it must have to do with the IR setup.

Jack, I'll be thinking of you, you fortunate beggar living under an atmoshpere of grace, while you are gunning the crap outa it, scaring the cat, and, especially, with the fiendish grin which will creep over your dial when you see that your management has created such a gem.

You won't cook it,
you won't drown it,
you can't kill it.
But like a good arms dealer,
by the good Lord you can
GUN IT for all of us!!!!

Yeeehhhooo!

And may God have mercy on those float bowls....

(the religious right now returns you to your regular secular broadcast....Beethoven's 200 cube overture) :?  :D
