Does anyone know of a site like this one only for the V8's? I am changing my engine to a V8 and taking out my newly rebuilt 200-6

There are plenty of ford V8 sites, likely too many. I dont think any of them think of Falcons as real cars so I dont know if any of them will be a good fit for you. Got your 200 posted here so it will go to a good home?

truthfully, there is no site like this one

V8 Mustang sites are more plentiful, the idiots are more plentiful, the lack of innovation is more prevalent, the general world experience is lacking
then you have the fact that V8s are common enough to allow for regional websites, whereas we have members from every continent barring Antarctica (possibly Asia as well, but... well, no one goes to Asia)

I have been to asia and haven't seen my first falcon there. I love falcons as I have had quite a few of them over the years. They are very economical and easy to work on. They can be very expensive also depending on how much you want to do and put into one. Restoration is probably the most expensive as trying to find all the right parts or good parts can be trying at times but well worth it in the end. I have loved all my Falcons that i have had and wish I still had some of them back. The sixes are great as well as the V8s are great also. I had always had a stick but as the years have overtaken me I am in need of an automatic for the rest of my time. I get plenty of shifting on MY HD> I do thank you all for all the help with my 6 and will still monitor this site hopefully to give help as well as ask for some also. Thanks and good luck with all your projects. Champion2211

Yeah, V-8 sites are a headache.

I used to visit all sorts of Ford Mustang sites, and V-8 sites...but honestly this is the only one I visit regularly. The others I only use when I have a specific mustang related question.

Problem with most V-8 sites I've seen is many people get their only source of knowledge from magazines and movies. There are some really knowledgeable people, but you have to learn who they are.

You will not find a site like this one anywhere. However there are some good sites out there. You can get some good info from the HAMB and TFFN. The

The HAMB is loaded with good info if you know what you are looking for and don't mind some colorful language.

The TFFN is laid out better and has Falcon specific info. They just seem to be a little OCD with their rules.

You can still get some good info here. Most people seem to have done the V8 suspension conversion. Some might even be able to point you towards a parts car that is a V8 for the conversion parts for the engine and tranny.

Thanks I will check them out, especially the falcon news.

That's for sure...I got some good info from there, but something rubbed me the wrong way. Haven't been back for years.

Yeah it seems like a pretty decent forum from just looking around. However it didn't take too long before I got pretty annoyed with their admin disrupting good conversation just because ford didn't make the engine they were discussing.
