Main bearing bolts

Looking for ARP main studs for 4 main 177. Can't find a kit, so was wondering if they are the same as a 250 which are available?

If you are talking about a US 170, I am 99.9% sure that it is the same as a 200...Do not have one right now to check, But a 250 is to tall/ long.

:oopsie: yes 170 my brain fade. Set available for seven main 200. This is 4 main. will have it apart soon and compare.A retired engine machine shop owner felt that ford used some of the highest grade bolts in it's engines from the factory. Just hoped for forum knowledge. Possibly can order single bolts that would work. Thanks Dave

I can't speak for all but believe here they suggest apr (upgrade) to the con rod (big end) bolts.
I'd say anytime U open 'em up, that bolt is used, get a new. Not an upgrade tho AND I dislike 'rebuilding'. Building is enuff.
Some like the studs for the head as fitting gasket/head is easier w/them, easier to put on a newly warmed up head later...

Did U say "144"? 2.36L
Not going turbo, by chance?
Other ideas to offer...

Called ARP. Kit not available. So ordered individual bolts by measurement. Old 4 main 170. David

Yes I knew that you would have extra with the 7 main 200 kit , but can sometimes be cost effective with ''kit's'' and use only the ones that are not dinged up...I just hate it when a washer goes missing at final assembly. :)
