can anyone ID a mallory distributor#2362801? does it fit A 200 INCHER?

THANKS FRANKIE

I'm looking for the part #, but I don't remember that being the one. If ya call Summit or PAW, they can supply the part # for ya. Be warned, the dizzy is just shy of 400 buckaroos new!

after studying the Mallory site, it appears the ebay distributor is for a v6
great website thanks frankie

If you look at that guys ebay store, hes got a shitload of distributors...I bought one from him for my 170, smokin deal, 99 bucks new in box....

I have A Mallory dual point dist #2363001 that was in a 200-6, and is now in a 250-6. It fits them both. Cost me about $180 many years ago

Does this work with a pertronix or would it make any sense to use it with pertronix? I definitely like the look, especially for $100.00.

Ludwig,

I have a dual point mechanical sitting in my garage. I spoke to petronix a while back, at the time they did not have a kit for this distributor.

I think Mallory sell a unilite conversion kit for it.

Question, I am building a 1966 200 block with a 1973 250-2V head. Which dizzy will work better, hotter longer spark, the Mallory dual point or the Duraspark with a MSD6A or a Crane HI-6 ignition module?
I'm assuming the Duraspark with the Crane module but want to know what you think.

Or use the Mallory with one set of points to trigger the MSD box. Hide the MSD box under the dash and show off with a Mallory distributor 8) The points will last practically forever this way, and you get both performance and looks :D
