Manifold

I have a 66 200 6cyl mustang. Like to replace the manifold and put a 2 barrel carb on it. Seen lots of pics but can't seem to find where to purchase one from. Any help is appreciated.

If you have the original head, it can’t be done without modifications, either cutting of the cast log and fabrication of new intake or machining and brazing a two barrel intake into the existing log- this is usually done with “ large log” heads.
The most practical method is buy a two barrel adapter for your existing log. With a carb swap and upgraded ignition, drivability is improved quite a bit👍

What Don said. Sorry I did not provide explanation but pictures of heads with detachable manifold are the VI aluminum head. Apparently available soon.
Tell us more about your Mustang like current drivetrain and what you want for it as far as improvements.

You can also put a Weber 38/38 2bbl carb on, again with an adapter.

A word of caution: If you have the stock Autolite carb and distributor, you’ll need to replace the distributor because it will be a load-o-matic distributor which requires a specific vacuum signal from the carb. It’s not a huge deal because there are plenty of better distributors to choose from but it’s something to keep in mind.

Here’s my 66 Mustang with a Weber 38/38 and an HEI distributor and coil. Clifford Performance is who supplied my Weber carb. It’s a complete kit. The distributor I sourced from an EBay Store called SwapMeetParts but there are several sources for distributors.
