mini starter?

where can i find one of those mini starters, is the 200 starter the same as the 427 starter, they look alot alike

If your talking about the 3 bolt yes , BUT even my 12.3-1 255 inch motor turns over fine with a stock starter , they do help with space concerns , ( I have a one on my Blower Motor 390 )

my stock starter works great but my headers make alot of heat and are very close to it, i want one for the space and the cool factor

hello mister,i have also a lot of heat at the headers and my
double stainless steel exhaust,my stock starter have not enough
clearence,,so i have used THE HIGH TORQUE MINI STARTER THEY
WORK WELL WITH HEADERS,AS THEY PROVIDE CLEARENCE,PLUS
THEY CAN BE INDEX ROTATED TO ANY POSITION,TRY TO FIND ONE
FOR A 390CI V8 AS THEY FIT THE 200CI.
i have only the problem that my bellhouse got 2 holes for bolt
on the starter ,so we have made a custom adapter.

The mini starter on my 250 came from altstart.com in TX. Been a couple years and relying purely on memory. Works great.

I did a RobbMc starter.

Got mine for the 250 from the salvage yard, $30 to $40. Just check your bolts pattern and go searching. I believe some of the V-6 starters worked for me.
