Mr. Gasket fuel pump?

Linc, you have to drill & tap the passages to a 6-32 size.

Then you install predrilled brass set screws into the threaded pasages.

A WORD of caution, you can ruin a good metering block if you screw up or do not have the proper knowledge & tools to do the job.

I charge $150.00 for labor & parts to do the job. William

I got a LOKAR basic black throttle cable, a moroso bushing kit for the Holley and a bracket with springs. Looks okay I guess---works great---may have to much spring on it though and my bracket isn't what I will use for the final hook up but it will do until I get a nice shiny chrome one. I will post pictures later...I'm tired, and it is still hot out in my garage--even with the door open. I'm a fat boy and sweatin' really ain't my cup of tea like it was 20 years ago. Thanks guys for your help and the different setups, cobrasix, mustang-geezer I took your ideas and made my setup.

OOPs!!! I had been reading the updated posts here and accidentally posted my throttle cabel post in the wrong place. At any rate thanks for the info here from all.

I will post pictures under another post later...by the way thanks to everyone on the Mr. Gasket fuel pump---I did'nt mean to cause a ruckus. Please guys no hard feelings. I have learned something from all of you, at least at one time or another.

I don't think anyone was upset with you, Darwin 8)

Darwin, you are just asking for help, no need to feel guilty, as Linc says we just here to help.

Good luck on your project.

Yes the 4412-500 carb with its over carburetion sound like it won't work, but believe me it does. With the log manifold every bit of air flow is just horsepower. It takes a lot of fine tuning to get it right.

Yes you can install it out of the box & the average Joe will say this works great. But as always Holley makes them rich on purpose just to cover the broad application this carb fits.

Proper metering depends on the application.

wsa111, I will have to do some tweaking on it. Im currently building the engine. Bored .030, Assie Head w/ big valves, stronger springs (just like the performance manual says) 272 cam, probably the DUI Dizzy. I'll have to get a hold of you when its completed. I live in Charlotte. :)
